Liam Neeson: Star Wars Spin-Off For Liam Neeson
LIAM Neeson is set to reprise his famous Star Wars role in the animated spin-off, The Clone Wars.
The actor — who first played Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, in 1999 — will voice the character’s ‘ghost’ in a three-episode arc on the computer-animated series, according to Entertainment Weekly.
“Growing up, my heroes were cowboys; they were strong and mysterious, and it seemed like they always rode off into the sunset. For kids today, Star Wars has that same kind of magic. I really wanted to be a part of that,” he said.
The episodes will begin airing January 28 in the US.
